 My Favourite Shake-It Recipes
To make all these recipes you need to use an electric blender or a bullet blender - which is much more convenient, as you need to whip the mixture properly to blitz the fruit or ice.

Apple Zinger
I heaped scoop of Vanilla Shake-It
200mls cold water
½ and apple, with skin on
½ teaspoon cinnamon
 
Berry Blitz
I heaped scoop of Vanilla Shake-It
200mls cold water
¾ cup fresh or frozen berries – the mixed ones are very nice
1 teaspoon Stevia powder (herbal sweetener, naturally occurs in the leaves of the plant & that has 5 kilo joules per teaspoon.

Cardamom Contemplation
I heaped scoop of Vanilla Shake-It
200mls cold water
½ a pear, with skin on
½ teaspoon cardamom powder

Chocolate Mocha
I heaped scoop of Chocolate Shake-It
200mls cold water
A shot of espresso coffee or a teaspoon of instant coffee or Caro dissolved in a little hot water

Double Chocolate Hit
I heaped scoop of Chocolate Shake-It
200mls cold water
1 heaped teaspoon of unsweetened dark cooking chocolate powder dissolved in a little hot water
1 teaspoon Stevia (natural sweetener) or to taste

Frappochino
I heaped scoop of Vanilla Shake-It
200mls cold water
A shot of espresso coffee or a teaspoon of instant coffee or Caro dissolved in a little hot water
100 mls water
 ¾ cup ice cubes 

Hot Chocolate - Fancy a hot chocolate for breakfast that tastes every bit as good as a Max Brenner but more filling?
1 heaped scoop Chocolate Shake It
1 heaped teaspoon of unsweetened dark cooking chocolate
1 teaspoon Stevia (natural sweetener) or to taste
Place all ingredients into a Barmix (stick blender) beaker
Add 100 mls hot water & blitz to get rid of the lumps
Top up with 50 – 100 mls of hot water & blitz again until frothy

Flavoured food essences 

 

Have no calories and adding drops of caramel or toffee or butterscotch or extra vanilla make a pleasant change of flavour to the Vanilla Shake-It.

Adding mint or cherry flavour or the like to the chocolate Shake-It can turn it around as well.


* In all the shakes you can add 1 dessertspoon of ‘Bowel Flakes’ & a teaspoon of Meta Oil (sort of fruit flavoured oil full of essential fatty acids, not bad) and place all ingredients into a blender so it fluffs up like a thick shake.
